Today is a gifts' night and family unity based on an ancient tradition that comes from the Holy Scriptures at the New Testament, from which can be seen a story full of mysticism and tradition, especially for the smaller of home.
But really, who are the Magi? and why they visit us tonight?

Although another great easter sage, also astrologer, who came with the intention of meeting the Child Jesus following the Bethlehem Star, this man named Artaban belonged the Zoroastrian priestly caste from the Medes and Persians; a great heart person who got rid of all to get jewlery gift for the future king.
He left his home carrying only three gemstones that would be his offering, and accompanied by his slave Orontes following the alignment of the stars, certeinly soon reach the sages group who had avanced only a few days, however soon he met a patient who requested his help and stayed by his side until recovery. Without sosing faith, he kept going as far as being intercepted by a group of homeless, including many sick and lepers who asked compassion for they illness; so resigned Artaban abandoned his misson to devote years to caring for the sick, he sold his jewels and helped the homeless to estabilish a colony where they could cultivate the land and live in dignity in their own work.
Years pass and hope to meet Jesus was lost, until he came to them the rumor of a man who could heal the sick, so Orontes, who had helped Artaban in his mission, left to be a slave long afo, he decided to take a blind man to the Jesus hands, hoping to find his healing. Orontes came back to Artaban support the Jesus rumor, and assured him was the king who must have known him 33 years ago, then the Fourth Wise Man goes in search of Jesus and to reach Gethsemane Jesus asks Peter and he denies, fulfilling redemption.
Aging and disappointment of Artaban make him feel defeated by never having met Jesus, who is said to have approached the old Easter Wizard, in the resurrection days to thank him for his gifts... Artaban surprised told him never had deliver the promised gifts, then Jesus said to Artaban that every kindness act done for the needy, was the bast gift he could give.
As you see, tonight is to give kindness and love... Moreover, it is the less!
