Either a thursday night, of classic cold winter intense, can be transformed into a magical moment with a few chords and the ideal venue...
Just that what happened tonight, The Santa Rosa de Viterbo Temple, already in itself is a spectacular place full of history and art in every corner, now also it had the luxory of sharing a little more, carrying the soul and senses to the Baroque Queretaro.
The hisoric downtown welcomes passers with its wonderful provincial atmosphere in the city, the narrow cobbled streets are framing step so we waited patiently in a small corner of the temple.
Within the Lower Choir that protects the body of the church, tonight anxious to get back to vibrate as the Renaissance times, was a delicate harpsichord... At eight o'clock in charge of the Master Gaston Lafourcade, the notes began flying, with Bach, Froberger and Cabanilles (among others); making it impossible to prevent the mind immediately transport us to the past.
The thick walls that embraced and protected us from the cold, while carrying the gentle sway of the notes which finally ended up filling the place, always reserved for a single visitor: the organist... but today we had the honor to pass the barriers of spacce and be a living part of a light dance that simply filled with angels the night.
Thanks Master Lafourcade, without your precision and feeling, this organ and harpsicord simply had remained silent, waiting for another great time to vibrate!
